The MARQ, Museo Arqueológico Provincial de Alicante is one of the best cultural options when visiting the province, particularly the Costa Blanca. Situated near the Castle of Santa Bárbara, in the capital city of Alicante. It is certainly a treasure for those who love history or are interested in the area.
The museum frequently hosts traveling exhibits combined with the Boards of material itself. There are currently two exhibitions. Arifex, an impressive collection of Roman engineering in Spain. Particularly roads, bridges, ports, lighthouses, dams, aqueducts or works of civil engineering that is still present.
The other exhibition brings Elda findings, archeological sites and materials contained in the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Elda.
